Memes are great yeah. Some of them do suck tbh, you can see it was done just for the sake of points, but most of them are actually funny and relatable lmao

Tbch I didn't go through the complete lot... hahah don't intend do until i am like free and have nothing to do, But i just overviewed them.

Relatable memes really makes you cry from inside- aka like this has happened with me 😭😭

It's pretty hard to consistently get good memes while making like 100
Probably applies to almost every submission but ig people will just submit more memes than tuts anyway because of the effort-reward imbalance between tutorials and memes.

While the former takes around at least 1-2h (maybe more, some of my tuts took 3-4h+) to create and structure a proper thread, the latter just takes 10mins to pump out 50+ points worth of memes in one go. I'm fairly surprised that other members haven't entered in some tuts, I wouldn't mind having to battle it out on all fronts rather than just making it a meme war. I mentioned this to Cap, it would be pretty pointless to have everything relying upon memes (plus, I also make memes about this imbalance occasionally)

Some of them (eg. L33Ts getting bullied in the old HF, and reputation being such a big deal) used to be very relatable happenings in the forum.

I'm trying to convince myself that it's all worth it for the elusive Royalty award. GL to everyone else, that's pretty much the only prize I care about. It would be a tale in HF history if I were to am able to get Royalty via KOTH, MOTM, and award goals such as Bronze Tut, Golden Content all within the same month.

Song submission coming soon, and I'm sure everyone would like it :)

Also, I agree with everything you just said. Me along with The Warriors didn't discuss the rules thoroughly and adding a potential maximum meme submit limit. But I can only say that Cap and everyone involved put A LOT of time and effort in this event. Shame it doesn't have more competition.

But ya as new competitions come this will pave way for more stricter rules so it cannot be abused.
