Totally new here, can someone just tell which programming language to learn? I saw Visual Basic is good for beginners, but I don't even know which one from that :D... I don't know much about languages YET, but I really would like to learn, wanna be a hacker aye.
Any books and stuff as well? I need some strong basics apart from the forum.. Thanks!

Visual Basic is really good for educational purposes. You should start off with that, and once you understand the concept of a program, and how it works, you'll be able to program in other languages.

I disagree with this, visual basic teaches bad programming habits.
