Server Update
ExinoHosting has now enabled a fullscale security system due to an UNNEEDED amount of ddos attacks today. We know, or rather assume with a lot of info, who is behind it and its another host from HF. The reason, jealousy.

So, anyone who is on our hosting knows that we had a number of ddos attacks this week. Only one of which actually took us down, only for a maximum of 1min tops. However, I have confirmed my submissions on who the attacker is, and yes it is a member of HF. In fact, it is a web hoster of HF who allows botnet hosting. We will not say names, but the attack came from India.

Also, we have been getting people saying that we are not on dedicated servers, they have posted links to try and verify this accusation. However, the ip addresses that are on our account from a whois search are not our actual ip address, but a security service ip.

Thank you for the kind words, mate. To be honest I believe we have done well for the first few days we are open. ExinoHosting has generated 833 unique page views in only two days and we even have received 28 unique threads (ddos attacks) in the same two days. As you can see we are still up and running fine, despite these attacks.

Personal Statement
I dont really do this often, but this morning I woke up to 100 some emails and my phone ringing because of an attack we had against out servers. I am a truthful person and I will not lie to you guys, we had some major downtime, more than I would have ever expected. However, the ddos attack has been eliminated in a timely manner and I have added a new layer of protection against attacks. I'll put more information on these upgrades on our twitter and blog later today.

Anyways, I have to say I am very much flattered by all the attacks we have gotten and the amount of effort people are putting into an attempt to take us down. To be honest I am more excited about the amount of attacks we have gotten than the 133 clients we have received. I see it this way, who ever is doing this obviously is another host on hackforums and they feel we are a threat. Why? Well more than likely they are insecure about their services, website, own protection, etc. I do have an idea on who it is, but names will not be posted.

Like I said, this is rather flattering, but at the same time its rather annoying. However, this is a good thing. The more attacks we get and the larger the attack is, the easier it is to stop and prevent future attacks from happening. So I guess they are actually doing more good for ExinoHosting than bad. Maybe we should start paying them for their efforts and for simply helping us out. :)

Anyways, I have updated all the plans to include unlimited domains, emails, ftp, etc. I have also made some adjustments to our servers, so faster speeds are here. ^^
