There is a video tutorial...
I made it a download only video because if I would've bothered to upload idiotic users would have said they can't see the text and stuff because they're too stupid to hit the HD button.
Sick TUT, covers everything you need, and easy to understand
Do you need backtrack or linux to use aircrack? All the tuts involve this.
I just have a real simple question. Why bother reinstalling commview?

Great Tut Btw :D really easy to understand :)

Aircrack-ng come in binaries for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

It's Airmon-ng you're thinking of, cause Windows doesn't support Monitor mode. Commview replaces airmon, so no. You don't need backtrack or linux. Just windows.

The trial runs out after 30 days, if you want to continue using it after that period, follow my instructions.

When I use Aircrack-ng GUI, I upload the .CAP and check the wpa button, but it won't launch unless I upload a word list.

It's obvious that you're new at this, and that's okay :) WEP can be cracked using mulitple methods and is old and easy to crack. WPA is much harder. A password list must be supplied so that it can bruteforce the handshake.

Yea thanks for the feedback. As far as the password list what if the guy uses something personal like his family name?

You can eliminate that by adding personal passwords to the list using CUPP - http://www.social-engineer.org/framework...%28CUPP%29

Kk, Im just gonna download a wordlist and see if it works. Great TuT man, thanks alot.

I plan on wardriving once I am an expert at all this. If I wanted to crack a customer service office of a corporation (not a financial building) can I get the logins of the workers there, if I crack the lan, then intercept the packets?
Awesome! thanks KILLM3! know what im trying tonight :)

You should be able to as long as the log in information is passed through the access point. Many corporations are learning to put wired computers on one router, and then branch the WAP off of it, so that any attacks would need to be performed from a direct wired connection. But yes, you can do it, but if you're looking to steal login information, id suggest using Ettercap. Cain comes with predefined settings for identifying login information, while ettercap just captures everything.
Very nice tut bro !!! Good work !!
