MAC Addres Changing (IP Changing)

So recently i learnt that i could change my IP address with my MAC Address and im just wondering if can change the letters in my MAC Address and the numbers next to the letters

With out breaking it

Thanks
MAC and IP are completely different. You can use a VPN to change your IP, and your MAC using terminal/cmd. they are completely irrelevant to each other.

This is for changing your MAC-Adress spoofing.

And just simple change your IP with a VPN/Proxy like [/Code] said

Goodluck
Technitium MAC is the best program for changing your MAC adress
You can spoof your MAC address by using SMAC
But if i went in to my Router configuration page

And clicked MAC Address

I have changed my IP by changing my MAC Address before

But can i change the letters in my MAC with out breaking it?

I've changed my IP by changing the MAC used by my Router before. I was told the only things you can change without breaking it was the last 2 boxes and the numbers have to be 0-9 and letters have to be from A-F.

Example - This is my computer/router's MAC(Not really, it's an example)
5e:25:76:89:61:ed

I can change "61:ed" into 36:f3, or a6:7d. As long as it's the last 2 boxes. Restart router and it should change IP.
Learning: Java. Next i think will be c++
Mac=physical address it is burnt in your nic from the company it came from
Ip=your internet address, so the packets from the internet know where to go

Both are easily spoofed...you could changed your MAC to anything you wanted, as long as its in the following format:
xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
