What happens when you host your own IRC server and you shutdown your pc? Do you lose all bots then?

this has been asked 1300 times, they will disconnect until the Zombie computer restarts, then the bot will reconnect to your server/computer

After many hours, and lots of help from Neal Caffrey, I finally setup my irc server. I had to combine both of your tutorials to get it working for me though. His tutorial was for windows xp, and used Unreal IRCd; but for it to work on mine I needed to use IRCx. But I'm happy to say that I have a fully functional IRC server now! Thanks to both of you for your awesome tutorials, you guys should really team together to make an ultimate tutorial. Now time to get spreadin'!
