Ok you cut it in half. Which side of the file is undetectable? If both of them are undetected there could be 2 problems:
It wasn't detected before you started(lol)
you (against almost all odds) cut the signature in half on the first try.
before you do anything else, go buy a lottery ticket. Next cut the file in half in a different place. I'm not sure if thats the info you wanted so ask me again if your still not getting it.

it is not soo hard i am not a newbie i was active on other forums

but i use a file splitter and split in some times then u got 3 lines and its is easyer to find the detected singature

Because that's what I've been trying and the virus results are not making any sense :S

Before hex editing I get 7/22 on NoVirusThanks for my file. When I hexed the file, after filling top half, saving it, the bottom half is 0/22. The bottom half is always 0/22 no matter how big I make the bottom half.

For example, I filled just first 3 lines of my file as "00" in the hex editor. After saving the file, i scanned it, and it was 0/22. This doesn't make any sense to me :S ??

Does hex editing not work on crypted files or something?

I hexed my keylogger

THe top half is gettin detected.

i hexed that tophalf once again and made it 2 parts

Now , both the files are not detected(2 parts of tophalf of keylogger) , what shud i do ?
