and
192.168.123.2

And after some research I've found that 192.168.123.254 is the router IP.

But, when I ARP poison them and then use the Chk_Poison plugin, it says the poison was unsuccessful.

Nice tutorial !

Im using backtrack 5 image 2.6.39.4, with atheros 5007 card, problem is when i scan for host ettercap locks 99% of the time. Ive tried editing the ettercap conf. file via removing the # in front of the if you use Ip tables part, and also edited the privileges section ec-uid=0. Ive edited those things all at once or in combination of one a time but ettercap still crashes same place. When I first click on the tab to choose interface i get a build/build/glib2.0-0-2.24.1/gobject/gsignal.c:3079:signal name depressed is invalid for instance 0x992f9f8 error. Then when i clik scan host ettercap locks and darkens out.
Ettercap will work using -T with command only if I could figure out how to get it to show normal text using (cat) and (lgrep).

Okay, so I go Sniff->Unified Sniffing and then I get a pop up, that asks me for Network interface. What am I supposed to write there?

What's more I found a way to get something in there, but after I do it my ettercap stops working...

+ I can type only ettercap -G in the console, because when I type #ettercap -G I get a message: "DNS server is non authoritative for the area."
