I don't want this to happen to me again. People said it's a good tune up utility but ended up getting infected. Even though that user was 'trusted' in that site.

The copy I got from a 'trusted' guy is infected with a RAT. I had to format my computer just to remove it. So I'd rather buy a new hardware. Well, that's just me.

I have a working copy of version 4 if you guys want it with a serial, none of this serial generator rubbish which are usually always full of Trojans lol...

P.S.

I installed Version 5 on my PC, done a registry clean and it deleted the registry location to my windows installer, so I could not uninstall or install any programs, *fail*.

All I did was re add the location line in reg edit and it fixed it.

My recommendation is you guys just use CCleaner, Do a Defrag on your system every 3 months, take off your computer case and clean out your damn PC dust every 3 months. Run a firewall, AVG, do regular scans, and do not go to bogus links and download useless crap from the internet that you just do not need.

It would really depend on the author of the link. Some people who have e-reputation wouldn't crypt a virus to it and instead make money by uploading and posting in different sites.

You are right on some ways. I did not download that... This is be a long story.

Mine PC System was down before 1 month. So that means i could not reinstall windows or do anything, there was blue deskop, no icons no anthing.... So mine uncle reinstalled the windows and installed this program. He had program in CD/DVD. Do i need to say anything else?

You honestly deserved to be infected. Why would you download from someone as opposed to the official link? This program is legit, and you can get pro by going on youtube, copying the serial, turning off your internet, put the serial in, then turn your internet back on. Honestly though, the pro isn't anything special.

First go to warez-bb.org, make an account, look for Advanced Systme Care 3, use the keygen in it. Delete the key gen, update, then go onto youtube and get a serial from a vid, most usually work but follow instructions. Or just stick with the unpatched ASC 3.

Tip 1: When on warez-bb, look for threads with high post counts, look at the last page of comments to see if anyone says it pops up with an infection.

Tip 2: Makesure the user is either: VIP , or Master of Warez, or Legend of Warez, or Ancient Philosepher, etc. Higher the level the safer it is.
