A few days ago, I managed to sneak a VPS and load a phpshell.
I managed to get a backdoor access to almost all hosted sites, but i have not been able to achieve root privileges :-(, there are sites with up to 10,000 unique visitors per day. :-)
Is there a way to make money in any way with this?, by adsense or anything else without it being traceable to me and safely? 😁
The VPS is in the U.S., and I live outside of this, the law can still reach me?

The kernel is 2.6.18-128.el5 , but I tried this exploit http://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/10613/ , and it seems the server is patched.
It is the only one I've found for this version.
If it's latest (2011) version then you will not found any exploit because it doesnt exist (It's private)

One of the hosted sites it's a forum, the activity list is updated with all members and visitors who have come in the last 2 hours, at that time during the day, the average is 1400 guests + 150 members online.
And at night right now is pointing (01:47 AM) 847 guests + 57 members.
I estimate that total visits in a day are on average 10k.
I finally got the root 🎉
