Each time (except for I believe one or two occasions) I was nominated by a different person, most commonly Pluto.
I personally know that Dredd will hold posting the voting thread until he feels there are a good amount of candidates he feels worthy, so if anything, he does things to make it more fair.
Honestly, it's nothing really to get upset over, it's an overhyped contest usually full of corruption (people using MSN and PMs to get votes for themselves or other people).
I've even pulled out one month due to finding some of the people nominated unfitting and drama filled to just not have to deal with things.
As far as this months voting, I was between Glassy and THL, both of which are good friends of mine here, as you used to be Scooter.
Judge Dredd can read PMs of any of the contestants, and I imagine their friends as well to see if anything is going on.
As far as everything goes, I doubt Glassy has asked for votes, but he will be rather persistent on messaging people when he wants something, but I've never known him to ask for votes.
Scooter, you take this HF thing way too seriously.
You search on Google using methods to get accounts people want and then brag about posting response in Ub3r sections for free things, sometimes replying to 20 threads at a time.
If you are being helpful, it's one thing, but to brag and call yourself a rep whore isn't a very good thing.
It's in good manners that you don't nominate yourself as well as ask someone to nominate you, the difference between being nominated and asking to be nominated is what says things about a member's intentions and character and that is something I don't think you understand.
Some glaring MOTM problems. [JUDGE DREDD] |

Also, I think it's pretty odd how the same members keep recurring, but others who "deserve a chance" are not on the poll. If you go through the MOTM threads over the last couple of months, there are quite a large variety of members in the poll. So there are members who are frequently nominated, guess they keep being HQ members? As for your "Me being disqualified for no apparent reason isn't a mistake?" I'm not aware of it at all, but I'm pretty sure JD wouldn't just disqualify someone without reason, I'm actually looking forward to his reply on that. From your post I thought you were insinuating that he frequently does this to make specific people win? Well, if he had any balls he would reply. I can almost guarantee that he sits on his computer all day and waiting for someone to mispell something or double post instead of editing etc. Not that I have anything against him because....
1- He can ban me in a second... 2- He can warn me 3- He has the same power as Omni 4- He can warn me 3 times for 1 thing (its happened to my friend False Positive on AIM) (Feb 3, 2012 07:33 PM)Deltron Wrote: Are you saying that he is not worthy of a nomination? I've heard alot about it, False Positive is my friend irl (I've seen him on HF on his iPhone) (False Positive) who convinced me into joining.

I think you are a good fit for the award but, it is by members vote and you are not to choose over that.
