I actually use an iPad for college and prefer having ebooks on it rather than owning the physical book.

Pros:
Easier to read - can zoom in and out if you'd like
Carry all your books on a single tablet (books get heavy)
Ebooks are cheaper - you will save money
You can highlight and de-highlight text in the book
Tablets can do a lot of other stuff too

Cons:
iPads are expensive (but buying books via ebooks will make up the money in savings) - get a kindle fire, nook, other tablet. Or even a netbook if you want to spend less
Very cool thread, I plan on using this next semester when I need books!

Good to know man. I'm about to make a new thread with a better layout, hopefully I'll have a sticky for one the next semester starts, and I think I'm going to be doing a great deal for a limited time when the next semester starts... Buy $300 in books from me and get a free kindle fire. So... since I'm selling books half off, you'd basically be getting $600 in book and a $200 kindle fire (so $800 worth) for only $300!

Stay tuned.
PM'ed you about a book.

Looking forward to purchase.

I'm trying to buy some e-books for my iPhone thru the iBooks app, are you able to do that?

I can get them in .pdf format which iBooks can have. I like using Goodreader better though for pdf's. I can also get them in .mobi which amazon's kindle app can use. But yes it will work in iBooks.
Vouch for Gtech. The transaction went fast and smooth.
Vouch for gtech. Easy trade, got my book quickly.

Any book you find on amazon that has a kindle version I can get. So if it's on amazon and there's a kindle version then yes.
So can you do any book, not just text books?
If you can I might be interested in buying acouple soon.
