Why don't you just use a ctor for the class?
Probably coding some useless shit.

I wanted to make it this way. No real reason.
This is simple no need to create a class for it lol this section is going to be flooded with dll's now.

I doubt that half of the people know the method without viewing the source of this dll.
Saved and bookmarked for later use! But how do we incorporate this to our program? Does this stop the old version, download a new one, and run it or it changes everything INSIDE the program to update it.

1. Call .Create() so it creates the Updater.
2. Call .DoUpdate() to be presented with a prompt, asking to update.

If it is yes, it does this:
Deletes the exe
Downloads the new one
Replaces the two
Starts the new one

And if the program is small, you can barely tell that the update happened due to download times.

It's not really that hard, and why you're making a DLL for it is beyond me.
It seams unnecessary to have to write a batch script then delete it when you can just run the code as is..

On my phone so i cant express my rage.

🤦‍♂ DoDownload is obviously a method that isn't included in the framework, meaning I would have to write it myself, and it's not that hard.

public static void DoDownload()
{
WebClient downloader = new WebClient();
downloader.DownloadFile(_downloadLink, _savePath);
downloader.dispose();
}

(I'm writing this off the top of my head so it's probably got some errors)

So, you were saying?
Nice, bookmarked the thread.... in case i can ever think of a program to program lol xD

There's no need for this to be in a .dll, nor is there a need for it to be as complex as you're making it.

I have explained it over TV to someone who should be posting shortly.
Why do all that when you can just do this?

PHP Code

<?php
If New Net.WebClient().DownloadString("www.versiontxt.com").Contains("v1.0") Then My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile("www.downloadlink.com", "path file")
Nice little snippet, thanks for sharing

Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate.

I still don't see how it's so hard to understand.
