What are the realistic minimum system requirements for using remote access tools? I'm looking at getting an old laptop only for hacking and was wondering what I could get away.
Minimum Requirements for RATs? |

I haven't got one yet. I'm still looking on ebay for one for hacking. Can you suggest a rough spec I should be considering? is there anything essential I should look for as far as hard drive or ram? I won't be using it for anything else. I don't want to go overboard but I want it to do the job.

I have 4 computers 2 brand new Toshiba Laptops Win7 and 1 WindXP that is fast as fuck and a Vista all in one touch screen all to my self + a galaxy tab 10.1 and you know something? I love the XP for ratting! I run my VPN and everything on my desktop and browse my personal things on my vista RAT on my Toshiba's also (with different VPNS) and just fuck around on my other one.

RAM, Hard drive, ect... and OS. If there is no requirements, tell me how do I run a RAT on 1KB RAM and 2KB disk space? 🤦♂ (Mar 10, 2012 04:04 PM)ProfoundZeus™ Wrote: I suggest: Yea, most likely this. And the great thing is that I won't mind throwing it out of the window if theres a sudden knock at the door 😉 (Mar 10, 2012 04:30 PM)conrad Wrote: Cheers, thats great, should be able to pick something up pretty cheap at that spec.
