How long is too long for product delivery?

Hi,
Basically, I bought a method from this member Yellow Skull: https://hackforums.net/member.php?action...uid=905279 for $300. He promised me before I paid that I'd get it immediately, then once I paid he said he had to wait till it came through and that he'd send it within an hour, and the next day he said that he was out with his girlfriend or something and I forgot what he said today. Anyways, how long is too long before I might consider opening a dispute?
Regards.
I'd go ahead and open that dispute, honestly.
still lurkin. still bitcoin cashin.
depends on what you ordered. be more specific

It's sad because what people want are answers when they really need the truth...
Answers are not always the truth, but truth is always the answer.

Well, I would say 2 days is more than enough for a product to be delivered. However, I'd say wait a week just to make sure that you 'gave him enough time' for him to deliver, before opening a dispute. I usually receive my e-books/methods on the same day of purchase.

Exactly, did you buy a virtual item or? If it's something you bought in real life I wouldn't wait over a month.
Seen this a few hundred times on this site by now. It's almost certain you've been scammed which is further reinforced by the fact that he is a known scammer: https://hackforums.net/search.php?action...order=desc

Well he wasn't exactly selling it to anyone else. After we made the deal he said he wrote it up already and that I'd get it right after payment, but after paying he said he messed up the method and had to rewrite it and have his partner check over it. :#

In our Skype conversations (which anyone who's used Skype before will know is impossible to edit) he verifies that he has received the money and also goes on to say that "if I were scamming you I'd already have blocked you".
Tick tock goes the scammer clock.

You've been scammed. They always make excuses and try to delay it as long as possible. Also, he has several scam reports on him.
ok in that case i just opened the dispute.
i was doing this transaction on my ipad after it had been restarted (so new IP, not that i've been on PayPal on my old ipad IP more than once a few weeks ago)
what are my chances of winning?

Your I.P wouldn't really matter, as long as it's in the same region. Many people have static I.P's, and hopefully you win.

Probably delayed it so he has enough time to transfer the funds and possibly use them.

I'd request or file a report with paypal straight away Op.
Also open a scam report on HF to warn users about this guy.
