Happy Birthday wishes from HF!

Then they dont have to fill in their birthday information.

OP this is a good idea.
It sounds like a cool idea, but I doubt Omniscient would take time to make this...

They have every right to fill in their date of birth if they want to, they don't have to be burdened with something that offends them.

Yeah, let's program a script that runs a daily check on over 280k user accounts daily checking if their birthday is today. Well done crashing the server.

Would request you to please comment on the basic idea. The idea is to give a personalized feeling to every member. Showing that they are special and we care!

Hope you people will agree with me on this!

That's not very intelligent, is it? How the heck is a system-automated message showing you the admin cares. Omni does care but this isn't a sign of it, stop having such a large reliance on HF for happiness tbh.
Yah know, I kinda like this idea. It's a pretty easy plugin to do, and kinda fun.

Catch Omni in a good mood and he will prob do it. Otherwise, hell no. ;)

You don't know the half of it. Don't talk like you know what you are doing when clearly you have no idea.
I do not see the point of implementing this if you are the only one to see it.

Thanks for the support! 🤝

And I hope it would not be eating too much resources on the server.

Haha that's cute man, enlighten me with your amazing insight. Clearly someone hasn't ever looked at PHP/SQL code. ;)
It is actually a good idea. I have something funny to say, but I do not think it is appropriate to post here. PM me to find out.

Bro, the basic idea is to make you feel good! If you are the birthday boy. A personalized message at the top. It would be a nice gesture.

At least what I feel. Though, it's my thinking & I completely respect yours too!

It seems like a good idea.

For one, I have, basic but enough to know you don't know what you are talking about.

It's not going to make one huge fucking search for every user on the site. It would check once per day if it was the persons birthday.(IF THEY WERE ONLINE) If so, then show the announcement. If not then don't. You could even make a cache entry so most of it wouldn't even be server side.

Crash the server, LULZ.
