- Is this completely in C# or have you created some native DLLs as well?
- Would there be any 'installation' required to get this running, like can one just run the exe or do they have to install the filesystem into the registry etc.?
- Does it require administrator permission?
Thanks (: A install is required for the driver and there is only a .exe you'd need to start for mounting the drive etc but I don't know if you require admin permission for installing a driver
The possibilities of using one of these inside a TrueCrypt volume are endless...

is it completely C#, or you have done only GUI coding in C#?
Holy crap, this looks fucking amazing. o.o
Can you install and boot and OS off of your "FileSystem"? It's quite an interesting and well done project, but the whole thing is kind of useless if you can't truly use the file system without using ntfs or another file system for your OS. I can just create a virtual drive and then mount files to it in windows now anyways.

He is making a File System, not a virtual machine. A FileSystem like NTFS or FAT32.

Awww, beautiful. I love the users idea, I'm actually excited about this, lol
This is incredable :) Another great release from DragonHunter :P
I dont believe you can make a driver without using C++, C are Assembly. So I guess that the C# is acting like the front end, so to speak
ohw man just finished the whole thread, very nice.
if you release this i would use it for sure altough a suicide password would be a real sweet bonus :D
Dragon I think you should make this opened source to help people like my self, I find this very intriguing.

I highly agree with Immortal. This could open the doors to so many great programs.
