ok i got the stub.exe to show. But now that i've built the server, I tried testing it on myself but I didn't appear in the connections spot. I am listening on the port and I have the port open. Idk if it makes a difference that i'm on Windows 7

DDoSing is usually the main one for hostbooters.
But theirs a lot of other uses like
Pay-per-install
Pay-per-click
Password/account stealing.
Spreading other peoples bots.
Selling installs/updates.
