I realize that the rpms are high. Normally need 5400 to keep it cool. I plan on getting better fans for the xbox 360 fat. My question is since the hard drive on my xbox is as small as a laptop. I notice that the same thing on the xbox hard drive. They recommend only wd or scropo (sorry forgot the name.) for the hard drive. I want to know if there is a way to hack the hard drive of my 500 gig seagate to make it work with the xbox 360?

No you can not. Get a 500GB Western Digital Cavier blue and you'll be fine. (Jan 10, 2013 10:47 AM)Wezz Wrote: No you can not. Get a 500GB Western Digital Cavier blue and you'll be fine. Those are expensive. Just try'n to work with what I got. Wish I could check out my sons hard drive to see if it is wd. (Jan 10, 2013 10:47 AM)Wezz Wrote: No you can not. The Scorpio series are the only ones supported for the 360 fat. (Jan 10, 2013 10:47 AM)Wezz Wrote: No you can not. (Jan 10, 2013 11:03 AM)Wezz Wrote: No. It'll just be a little faster, depends if the motherboard has the power to use it. It is the fat version of the xbox360 Also where can I get a jtag for the xbox360? I looked on a few sites and they are out of stock if any recommendations please? What would it do if I inserted the hard drive to the xbox if anyone has tried? |
