It doesn't matter when fiction is involved.

So present.

[Black Hole]

I personally chose future because pew pew.

Also Cowboy Bebop.

[Rеborn]

I would have to say that I like all the times . Mecha anime like Gurren lagann are what make futuristic anime good. Comedy / dramas in present times are always heart touching or a good laugh. Then with anime set in the past I like it when their is another element added into it such as the yoma in Claymore or the demons in Berserk

[KinGxKeV]

Any time will do for me as long as I can enjoy it :D

[Rakshasa]

Guess I'd prefer an alternative universe, seeing as most of my favorites are fantasy.
Spoiler (Click to View)I don't want to live in this world ;_;

But seriously I really don't mind any timespace, as long as it's entertaining.

[YesJong]

I want the past . For the awesome sword fighting . And not for the pew pew because i dont like that in anime xD .

[tuonami]

I don't really care about the time :P

[TheElo124]

their is not just one perfect time. it depends on the anime
gurren lagann - future
hellsing - close to present
code geass - parallel univerce
oda nobuna - past

[Hentai]

I would say present or future, I like more futuristic ones or ones set in times like elfen lied or mirar nikki.. whatever times those are set in.
Also alternate universe? As in time is irelevant? Or there time may be different as in 60 mins might not equal 1 hour?

Alternate universe such as the world depicted in Zero no Tsukaima. Different races, different laws of nature, etc. etc.

[Fox]

I enjoy seeing a variety of different times shown in anime, so it doesn't really matter to me.

[Eminent]

I like the present best, as it seems to just fit better, and it's usually more accurate imo

[Yoko_]

Since all of my favorite anime occur in the present, I'll have to go with present :)

[Alexchaos]

I don't have any preferences. As long as the anime is good I'm fine with it. :)
