Hack into any Mac and gain unlimited access
Hello everyone.
I can imagine that there are a lot of 'kids' (I don't like to use this word, but you know what I mean) whose parents lock up their computer by enabling 'Parental Controls' and putting some sort of clock on it which restricts unlimited access to the computer.
Well, this also happened to me. My father had put some sort of timer on my computer, which only allowed me to access the computer 1 hour per day. Obviously, this was not enough. I had to find a solution for this. Eventually, I found out how to do it.
The first thing you want to do, is access the Single User Mode on your computer. This can be done by rebooting your machine, whilst simultaneously pressing down the 'cmd ⌘' and 's' keys.
If you are not able to access the Single User Mode or it wants you to enter a password, then most likely there is a password set in the firmware. To remove this password, I found out it is possible by performing a PRAM reset. Now, to do this, you will need to reboot your device again, whilst this time simultaneously pressing down the 'cmd ⌘', 'alt/option', 'p' and 'r' keys. You want to make sure your device reboots 4 times (you will easily be able to count the times it does that) and then reboot your device again into Single User Mode.
Alright, now that you are in the Single User Mode, you can start the procedure of creating a whole new admin account.
To do this, you want to (respectively) type this:
Code
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.applesetupdone
rebootAlright, the machine should now reboot. After it has started up, you will be able to create a whole new account. Important here is that when it asks you whether or not you want to transfer any information, you have it continue without transferring any information. If you do it wrong, you will lose all your data.
Fill everything in until you come to the part where it asks you to create an account. It is important here not to choose the same username as an already existing account, or it will overwrite it.
Right, well now you should be logged into your new account. This account has admin permissions. Now what I recommend is for you to make a root account. This is an account that not only has even more permissions than an admin account has, but it is also hidden!
To enable the root user, open up the 'Directory Utility' application, look at the top navigation bar and click on the 'enable root' option. What you can then do is make a username and password for your root account. Now, reboot your system and then log into that root account, go to System Preferences and delete the new admin account you just created (only do this if you chose to make the root account). This way your parents or whoever won't know that you have done anything.
So now, the last thing I recommend is for you to always log in to your primary account (the one you already had before all these operations, unless of course you're on a Mac you are trying to hack into, without having any accounts on it), and then whenever the Admin Access window prompts, you just fill in your root username and password.
Well, that was it. I hope I am able to help you guys with this.
Cheers.
