Maybe you need more posts since you are new. I'm not sure, maybe download it, and try choosing the image and trying again.

Use a different hosting site, such as imgur.com.
To get a image from your computer you must be upgraded to L33T .
Normal users can only use avatars with direct links.
Upload it rather than hotlink. This should solve your problem. :I

This shits buggy as hell, yeah the avatar thing is so buggy. Like I upload/add one and it shows up invalid.
I was waiting for Omni to fix this but I guess someone should report it.

I'm having the same problem, can't change my avatar.
I will talk to Omniscient to try and get this resolved.
I can help, as i had trouble with this once.
1.Get any image
2. Upload it to imgur
3. then go to picresize.com
4. Resize to right format and get link
5. Go to link and use direct link
There you go man.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Just use another image hosting site.
That should solve the problem.
