Why are certain words such as: Fagg0t(which is normally replaced with friend) and vict1m(which is normally replaced with slave) replaced? How is fuck or shit or cunt allowed but fagg0t isn't? Just wondering.

v1ctim is replaced because it can be considered as a blackhat term that is commonly used.
Omniscient does not want HackForums to be referred to as a place where you can get "vict1ms".

F@ggot is replaced because it's a pretty mean term. Using it can really put someone down.
Honestly, I believe that out of all the curse words in the dictionary, F@GGOT is one of the worst I've heard.

If you haven't noticed, NIGG3R is replaced with Hannah Montana, or friend..I can't remember..I think omni changed it to friend but at one point it was Hannah Montana.

If you use the search function and look for word filters, I believe a member here did infact post a thread of all the filtered words.

Not true, I remember a post he made concerning all the words that he blocked.
Most of them were common courtesy and it was also for the sake of keeping HackForums clean and out from being referred to as a blackhat site.

Yup, as when certain events happen the lounge is usually spammed to shit about it.
Omniscient gets tired of it and he puts a filter.

EX: There was a site that was copying HackForums, and everyone was posting about it like a goddamn idiot.
Omniscient put a filter on it and placed [removed] whenever the word was used.

Another Example would be when the lounge was spammed to shit when
MEGa- Up lo ad was shut down.
Everybody posted about it constantly, so omniscient did the same thing. He placed [removed] and of course made a sticky post in the lounge for a bit telling everybody to shut the fuck up before he rips everyone a new asshole.
