has anyone had more success with running the pins backwards?!
[TuT] Customize, Manipulate, Modify Reaver Pins. Run Them Anyway You Like [TuT] |
rootipconfig Wrote: has anyone had more success with running the pins backwards?! From my own note's it's around about 50%. I have been keeping track of whether the pin is over or under 5000 therefore knowing whether it would have been quicker forward's or backward's. Surprisingly I am finding that most pin's are between 0000 and 2000 or 8000 and 9999. Eventually I may modify a file to run those pin's first. Thats pretty fucking cool man, and one would be pretty bright to think of it if I do say so myself! speedypota Wrote: Please could someone help me and put here reversed mod for reaver because I simply can not do that. whatever I do it starts from from beginning. If Reaver is starting from the beginning then you either have not saved the file correctly or have not re-named the file with the MAC address. Does Reaver ask you if you want to resume? [Y/N]

Yes. it asks me for resuming. But I can not see what I have modded wrong. I was doing it all followed by tutorial and nothing.I presume I have messed up something inside file when altering..:(( Obviously most of the pins are in sector beyond 6xxxxxx and I hoped to start reversed cracking to speed up process.I have put same problem on reavers FAQ google pages but not yet answer. Never mind. I will presume as it is.Slowly from beginning. It tooks me one week to get 35% of one good network and right now progressed on 45xxxxx.It is long way out of hell for me it seems. speedypota Wrote: Yes. it asks me for resuming. Why do people give up on thing's so easily? You can always make a file to start at 45xxxxxx. I dont give up. ;) speedypota Wrote: what first line ? 0000 ? The very first line in the file is a variable. It tells Reaver what pin to resume the session from. The line next to the cursor in the 2nd picture in the original post of this thread. The part under that picture explain's what it is doing. 0000 should not be the first line in the file unless you modified it that way. You can see in both my files I have left the first 12 pin's untouched. That's because they have a lot of success around the world.
