I just tried the beta version with Chrome Miner and it wouldn't work. It executes and is running in Task Manager, but no connections are made to the mining pool, but the file works when not crypted. Do you know if the paid version of this crypter will work with Chrome Miner because I may want to purchase if that's the case.

Crypter doesn't support .NET files.

I don't believe it to be a .NET file. I may be mistaken. I know it has no dependencies at all though.

It is because of the .dll files inside chrome.
