I don't live in US though. If it was the case I would probably go to all I could.

40$ for a badge is about average, although it ranges from 100$ to as little as 10$ depending on size and how fast they sell out. A few i go to are expensive because you cant book a hotel within 10 miles.

Seems interesting biggest thing, what exactly do you do at a con?
It's a stupid one I know but I only ever hear how it is from a reporting point of view.

I'm a photographer who mainly shoots the raves. Occasionally cosplay if im bored or my friends make me something. The parties are beast, free drinks everywhere, plenty of drugs (if your into that). Its like a massive party for nerds. Some people chat about whats new in the animes theyre watching, i spend alot of time entering prize pots in the game room trying to run off with some money. Its like a little vacation, although ive been doing it for years so im a bit burnt out haha.
Biggest things:
Cosplay
Games
Likeminded people
Parties/ Raves
Hanging with people that are typically smart.

I've been there, last time i went there we brough a bunch of dj gear out to the pool and had a little party. The con is super small but theres decent people. They shut us down in a half hour, and I drank myself to sleep.

I was thinking about doing Sakura-con this year or next year (In Seattle), since it's the closest one to where I live that I can find. Do you know of any good ones in Oregon? :D

I love seattle, but i havent been to any cons quite that far west. if you head a little east I can suggest a few :D.
