You have no friends on the internet.

CheckForIllegalCrossThreadCalls = False but you still invoke the UI thread. Jump between the HttWebRequest class & WebClient. You invoke stuff under DoWork. The BGW has a special event for reporting progress. Do you actually understand much of whats written?

Hope you will improve that ;)

Thank you very much both of you guys. I'm learning so all feedback is really welcome!
I'll try to improve that, to get even better.

Thank you again guys!
"1. In frmUpdate (Line 40) edit what says "YOUR SITE WHICH UPDATE.TXT IS UPLOADED" and replace it with your website url *IT CAN'T HAVE HTTP:// ONLY WWW.DOMAIN.COM (FOLLOW THAT FORMAT)*."

Code
If Not strSite.ToLower().StartsWith("http://") Then
strSite = "http://" & strSite
End If

Just a quick fix. It's basic stuff...
fuck.

Not trying to be a dick, It just comes naturally.

You know what I find funny? You snapshot a piece of code that might look "Ugh.." to you, but a MsgBox is a quick access MessageBox and is used in many professional testing applications.

I thank you for wasting your time on snapshotting them though! 👍

Now learn to code.

Msgbox is just calling Messagebox.show(). It's just a shortcut for lazy people who don't want to get shit done correctly. It's an old VB6 method afterall.
It's only micro optimization at this point, but if you want to code in .Net, then don't use VB6.
For my games, I use OneClick to publish and update the game.
It updates from DropBox

You know what is even more funny. There is no such thing as "quick access" to the Messagebox class. The MsgBox Function is from the Microsoft.VisualBasic namespace. Messagebox.Show class is from the System.Windows.Forms namespace.

The MsgBox function does it's own layer of exception checking before passing it onto the System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show() class which does the same layer of exception checking which passes it along to System.Windows.Forms.SafeNativeMethods.MessageBox(). Messagebox.Show removes this Third layer of exception checking.

MsgBox uses Three levels of exception checking. MessageBox Class two. So how is using MsgBox quick access when it does it's own layer of exception checking before passing it onto System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show()???

I suggest you learn how to code before commenting.

Your logic sounds like this : Don't use Dim to declare a variable anymore, as it's VB6 too.
