Budget: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814121686 Price = $139.99

Budget: Nvidia GTX 560 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814130720 Price = $154.99

Mid: Nvidia GTX 660 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125441 Price = $289.99

Mid: Nvidia GTX 670 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814130824 Price = $459.99

High: GeForce GTX 680 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814130768 Price = $499.99

High: Nvidia GTX 780 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125461 Price = $649.99

High: GTX 690 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814130781 $1,019.99

ATi/AMD Cards

Budget: Radeon HD 7750 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814102969 Price = $94.99

Budget: Radeon HD 7770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814121642 Price = $149.99

Budget: Radeon HD 7790 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814150667 Price = $139.99

Mid: Radeon HD 7850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814150609 Price = $199.99

Mid: Radeon HD 7870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125418 Price = $249.99

High: Radeon HD 7950 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125414 Price = $319.99

High: Radeon HD 7970 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125439 Price = $449.99

High: Radeon HD 7990 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814125458 Price = $1,099.99

NOTE These are Budget,Mid and High from my point of view.

The older HD 5000/6000 Series ATi and the older GTX 400/500 Series Nvidia are still GOOD cards. They're just not listed on Newegg anymore.

And to power these cards grab at least a 700W powersupply. Recommended 850W or 1000W if you have a lot of other PC components

Hope you like it.

Honestly, that depends on your resolution. If you have a 7970 and 2560x1440 you CANNOT max out Crysis 3 without lags.

However, if you have 1920x1080 and a 7970 you should be able to max Crysis 3.

The GT 640 is a good budget card indeed, but certainly not good for heavy games or ridiculously high resolutions.

Yeah exactly, I just mess around with my '22 LCD and that's the resolution I use, never had a single problem.

The point the thread is to show my personal list of GPUs I find from Budget,Mid and High-End. Advice for users.

As I said; the older GTX 400 series and 500 series and ATi 5000/6000 still perform strong they are just a little bit harder to find.

I was talking about a 700W to power a 7870 or 7970.

It also depends if you're going to OC.

A 7970 can be power on a decent 550W.

Depends if you're OC'ing the CPU. And how many HDD's you got.

From what I read, Corsair PSU's offer more power than advertised.

I've got the GTX 680 superclocked edition, don't even know why I went for the superclocked edition as it's overkill, but either way it's a phenomenal card.
