Haha you should really at least give some people a chance to get the MOTM. Hating on them what for? They DID do something for the community otherwise they wouldn't get votes at all? Besides that you should take a look at their threads and posts.

Well I have seen a few people voting for me I don't even know when they actually posted on this thread that they did vote for me?
And I didn't even know I got nominated till I saw this poll.

There are also a lot of people who would like to vote for a specific person but they never browse this Rules, Announcements, News and Feedback section. And they get never to vote for that person. I mean if this MOTM would be advertised each month on top of HF, I'm sure there'll be even more of votes given.

And what makes you think that "Their" buddies don't think he/she do deserve the MOTM? I mean if he helped his buddy out several times for something he needed than its obvious he/she would vote for him.

To add onto Skiezo and Pali's discussion:
The best thing that can happen in this contest is to have people who you don't know vote for you and praise you. That means you've affected or influenced people outside of your circle of friends and really made an impact in the forum as a whole.
To have people whom I don't know very well congratulate me for sweeping this contest or say they've voted for me is something new to me. But it proves that people appreciate the work I do and want to recognize me for it, even of I can't individually thank every single one of them.
