First you want to make sure you disconnect your Skype and Facebook accounts -
Then you want to sign into Skype and go to your profile settings and set everything to be blank as seen below -

Hope I helped you guys, and remember, this wont make your Skype impossible to jack, but it should make it a lot harder.
Seem like a helpful tut,
But i don't understand why the profile would be private. the harmful thing there is to skype is if someone resolves it.

Setting all the info to private helps keep people from jacking it.

Awesome, really simple, but never really thought of it, thanks!
Most chat applications are peer to peer. Skype patched the resolving thing, just enable the option in advanced connections.
DDoS - Use a VPN if you're worried. (A VPS is perfect to create your own VPN)
Skype stealing - Always a risk, IMO. The little amount of knowledge you need of a person to 'recover' their account is just retarded.
Good tutorial though.
simple tutorial but really use full information. thanks for share ..

I'm not trying to fight you, I'm just offering some of my knowledge, but I did just find this Skype resolver that works most of the time (sometimes the servers are down) here's the thread link https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3604423
