DarkComet Only one usage of each socket address(protocol/network address/port) Error?

My DC was working fine yesterday, now today I open my computer, open DC and get this error:

Only one usage of each socket address(protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.

I used the port checker tool and 1604 is NOT forwarded? I don't know what happened. I logged in to my router and port 1604 IS forwarded.

Could someone tell me a working fix?
I can help you over TV if you'd like.

Thanks for the offer, but I just found a working fix for everyone.

Simply re-portforward, delete your DC listener and add it again. Then it'll work. :)
Hey guys, this is my first reply ever on this forum! I've downloaded darkcomet and attempted to listen to a new port, but I keep getting the same error.

"only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted"

I have not port-forwarded because my router has a issue (so i can't get my default gateway info). So I have been trying to use utorrent, going to preferences and setting the router to 1604. But anyways, I can't listen in on darkcomet, and I'm pretty new to hacking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 😉

My very first comment too, yay.
If I were you I'd stay the hell out of this shit if you don't know how internet works ^^

Hmmmm...I've tried a bunch of random ports and the same error pops up every time ):
Any idea why this might be happening?

Ok by the way, I have PFPortChecker and I check my port. It my port is open. I closed the program and tried to listen in on that port on darkcomet and it didn't work.

Oh, thanks for the link! And I'm still stumped (probably because I'm new to using ports and all). I closed all my programs and made sure there definitely wasn't any programs on the port 1604. Then I tried it and got the same error. It's not only that port, but it hasn't worked on any port):

Oh nevermind! I figured it out finally! Dang, that took me a while. Thanks for the advice man!
