Plot
When the oddly peculiar Mikoto Urabe transfers into Akira Tsubaki's class, he finds that life has thrown him the weirdest curve ball ever. Because while Urabe may be an anti-social loner who sleeps on her desk, carries a pair of scissors in her underwear and breaks out in sudden fits of insane laughter, there's something about her that Tsubaki just can't quite put his finger on. Until he accidentally puts his finger in it, and suddenly the phrase "sharing spit with a girl" takes on an entirely new meaning! Before he can wipe her drool off his face, Tsubaki is mysteriously addicted to Urabe, which isn't half as strange as the fact that she not only finds this normal, but already seems to have plans for her new drooling boyfriend.
Characters
Akira Tsubaki - This story's main character. Since he tasted Urabe's drool, the two have entered into a strange love relationship. He's reached the age where he's just acquired some interest in the opposite sex, but every time he tries seizing the initiative in romancing the beautiful Urabe, he can never seem to make any progress in their relationship.
Mikoto Urabe ( Best Character Ever lol ) - Urabe Mikoto is one unusual girl. She enjoys cutting things up with her "panty scissors", sleeping during class, and generally not associating with anyone outside of her boyfriend and her one friend Oka. While quirky, Urabe is incredibly genuine and sincere to her beloved Tsubaki.
My Opinion
I thought this was a wonderful series. The animation was a tad off it seems and the first episode and even the first two almost made me drop it. However, after finishing it out I am so glad I did. This anime is just so odd that it is actually refreshing. I have never seen anything like it and it is just straight weird. This was a great watch and Im so happy that I stuck with it.

Yes, there are plenty of positives but the negatives here. For one, like I said, I really wanted to drop it. It is very quick to seem like a very stupid show after the first episode. The reason it does is the fact that it is so odd. I believe they could have not been so blunt in the first episode but hey, it all worked out in the end.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ANIME AND I RECOMMEND YOU STICK WITH IT. DONT DROP IT AFTER THE FIRST THREE EPISODES.
I've been wanting to watch it, but the fact that tasting someone's drool was the foundation for the relationship, I've sort of put it on hold. >.> Peculiar.
Been curious about this show since arkada made a review for it, actually downloaded from animebytes and ready to watch, but have other shows on my list before that

Like this show would of been 10x better if it would of just been her and some other guy... idk over all show was a 7.5 but for Urabe i give her a 10
I dont know, I really liked him. He seemed realistic. Except for the fact that he was easily willing to admit and continue licking her drool no questions asked like it was just the normal thing to do.
Read the manga long before it was aired. I enjoyed the manga immensely and recommend to anyone, however I must the anime is a driveling piece of crap that could compare to the first chapter, let alone an entire manga. For anyone who truly wants to enjoy this, manga ahoy!... That being said, nice review. ♥

I will most likely read the manga. I am reading Gunslinger Girl but it is so hard to follow...

MY tut is just used as a guideline for people who have yet to figure out how they want to write theres or don't know what format to use. Just a basic outline, following it means nothing to me, as by not following just enforces your own style. I would much rather see a new style, than everything match my format...
I hope you do read the manga, and gunslinger girl is really good... But I found later on it gets really weird, making it hard to follow. ♥

Yeah, Im at a bout 43 and its already getting hard to follow.
Also, I will read the manga but how different is the manga from the anime?
I really actually hate reading something that I already know what will happen.
