If let's say HF had some official tools like IP Lookup, resolvers, text editors or other tools that you guys might use that would be on the site. What tools would you like to see most?

There's already a notepad in UserCP.

But yes, it would be good for an iplookup and resolver.

I think the IP lookup plugin seem's useful. A resolver, now that may just be problematic.

I think having something like that would encourage some behaviour that is not the sites complete purpose. Getting rid of resolvers would be my suggestion, but anything else that could be used for good things would be a great addition. Not every person here is to learn to resolve IP's, and there are many other tools out in the public.

IP lookup is fine, but as Industry said, this could give a negative reputation to the site. People coming here just to resolve things.

- Geo Location IP Lookup
- A few encryption and decryption methods
- l33t Talk encrypter and decrypter (Like here: http://www.ioyu.com/io/javascript/l33t.asp )

Edit: Love Hexicidals idea. We should pay a small fee ($15?) To have these on site. We should also get a tool award? Like a screw driver? Who knows?

I think some resolvers, lookups and stressers would be pretty sweet, but before these come out I'd like to see the vouch system, new rep system, 3p1c, the mobile app, and some of the things we've been wait for a while to come finished.

Personally I'm going to say we don't need tools as it will bring unnecessary drama and more workload on Omni.

Perhaps bring out the new features we've been waiting on for ages like the vouch system, updated rep system, 3p1c, gauth, etc before starting a new project?
