What, if any, wiki's have you worked on?

At this time, I haven't worked on any Wiki's, but my experience in writing short stories for old forums and articles about gaming, emotions, life, and support for the common man can make up for this. I have worked on several small scale forum sites, some as the head writer, other as what they called a "learner".

Why do you want to join the HF Wiki team?

My love for writing struck me at the young age of eleven, my father, currently wrote and published his first book revolving around mixing and producing records. My inspiration sparkled and I had started on my own "novel". The short series I had started writing was completely fiction and really didn't have an overall plot or narration, rather just silly non-sensical writing to please the active imagination of a child. As I progressed further in my education I hit high school, or the dismantlement of my social life. Honors English was my main focus for freshman and sophomore years, I moved forward as a writer and learned much needed styles and transitions to make my writing flow at a professional level. The difficulty of it struck me during my Junior year just starting my first AP English course(Advanced Placement or college level). The teacher was one to embarrass students who "didn't belong" in her class, but highly complimented anyone who impressed her. Having such a love for writing, I hit her good side right away, unfortunately the meant I was expected more highly of. This pushed me as a writer and really gave me the direction I wanted to go. In all, I really have grown an attaching love for writing, how the emotions soar on every word the comes to mind, the love twinkles every second I stay writing. This is why I would like to join the wiki team.

Hackforums, a site containing some of the most subliminal minds in the history of what we know today, is the one of the largest MyBB forums around the inter webs. Inside a variety of intelligence levels and personalities lurk about. The site was first launched on May 2nd, 2007, at the time no one knew the bright future held at this sites disposal. Starting as a small forum, high quality members brought this forum to light as friends start inviting others to join, the site is growing at a highly increasing rate.

Today Hackforums holds over two hundred thousand members creating more than eight hundred thousand threads from topics ranging gaming to computer science to hacking to human manipulation to news and just the common discussion about life. All these people are brought together by one common love, their computers. The knowledge shared containing computer information around this site is outstanding. Sitting here today and looking back to the 1960's, none of this looked even possible, but here we have it. As a writer and enthusiast, I am excited for what the future holds.

What, if any, wiki's have you worked on? I have worked on the HF Wiki. I was part of the group before and wrote 3 or 4 articles. Due to inactivity I was kicked. That will not happen again should I be accepted. I have also worked on various wiki's for minecraft servers.
Why do you want to join the HF Wiki team? I would like to join the HF Wiki Team because I feel it will allow me to contribute to HF in a more positive way. It will allow me to gain more knowledge of the forum while helping others to do so too. I will also be able to improve my skills and understanding of the forum.

The hackforums deal dispute database was added towards the end of 2012, the idea behind it
was to make it easier to do a variety of things todo with scamming. It would be easier too
search for people who had been reported of scamming or who had been scammed. One key thing
to note is that it is not a database of scammers, but a database of disputes. The main
reason for having the tool is to make it faster, safer and easier to search for those accused
of scamming. The database is currently only available for upgraded members so that it does not
get abused.

There are currently five forms to fill in when adding a dispute which are:

- Deal Dispute Thread Link
- User Profile Link
- Amount Disputed
- Payment Method
- Note

Once the complaint has been made it is viewable to anyone who searches for any of the involved
accounts in the database. It is a requirement that you must also create a thread in the
deal dispute section explaining what has happened.

There where many reasons why WWI broke out, in this short article I will explain some of the most well-known reasons and some of my personal opinions.
the first reason that WWI broke out was because of nationalism, nationalism is a political keyword. It is the act of when a country has a political view that your country is great, it is also when you believe strongly in nations and nation like things, such as the army and navy. Finally, it is the feeling of oneness among people of a certain country. The reason that this could be a reason to WWI starting is because it meant that countries would get very overconfident and start to invest a lot of time and money into the navy, army and air force, we see this when Germany improved their navy greatly, this struck fear into England because, although they had a bigger navy, they had an empire to protect where Germany could focus their navy in one place.

The next reason that WWI broke out was because of allies and the problems in the Balkans. An alliance is when two or more countries get together and agree to work together. Leaders of countries often want to form alliances because it will make it easier to gather and share resources, it also means that there are fewer enemies to deal with. Allies can cause war because other countries may feel threatened  and become scared of each other this could cause retaliation with war.
The problem in the Balkans was that everyone wanted control of them but they wanted Independence. Austria-Hungry wanted the Balkans as part of their empire because they feared a strong Serbia. Russia were a largely Slav county and saw themselves as the 'Protector' of the Balkans. Turkey did already have control, though it was weak, they wanted to maintain it.
The Balkans themselves just wanted to be left alone and to have independence. This could lead to war because all the countries involved had allies and there was always a fear of war if one country was to attack and try to gain control of the Balkans.

The last reason why I think WWI started was because of the murder of Franz Ferdinand, Franz was a Turkish heir to the throne of the Balkans. This is what is known as the trigger, or what sparked the war. Franz Ferdinand was murdered by the Black hand gang by command of the Serbian leader 'The Bee' weapons were provided and the members of the gang were set with the task of killing Franz and then themselves. They succeeded. When it was discovered that the weapons had been provided by the Serbian government war broke out.

The HF Wiki Team is a group of members that work as a team to create and manage the official HF Wiki to help new users and even existing users to better understand HackForums and how we work as a community. We will publish exclusive content from time to time along with news pertaining to HackForums. The Wiki team also assists with the Help Docs on HackForums.

These members will work as a team to create pages and write the content that will be posted on the official wiki.

What, if any, wiki's have you worked on? I have never worked on a Wiki before. I currently run a review site but would rather not disclose it here for privacy reasons.
Why do you want to join the HF Wiki team? I wish to join the Hack Forums Wiki team because I want to help the community and I think it would be nice to get to know some more members. I also highly enjoy writing as you might be able to tell seeing as I used to run the HF Daily News.

Viral Dragon is one of the leaders of the WRIT3RS usergroup together with Sir, the head of the Hack Forums news and Ethereal, Viral Dragon's right hand man. He also leads Reviewers, the official Hack Forums review group and Complexity.

Viral dragon is the head of the Hack Forums Wiki team. He joined in September of 2008 and is currently an Ub3r member with over six thousand five hundred posts and seven hundred reputation. He is 22 years old and is currently married to iceybunneh.

None, because I haven't had any interest in working on any wiki's in the past. However, a HackForums wiki would be somewhat intriguing to work on.

Why do you want to join the HF Wiki team?

The answer to this question is simple. Aside from the fact that this group is looked at by most users as a very prestigious group to be apart of, not to mention various members apart of the Writ3rs are well known and recognized because of their contributions, I would love to work with you above all other reasons. Writing comes naturally to me and is a skillset that I enjoy practicing daily. I enjoy putting forth effort into philosophical writings and writing in general as well. I spend hours at a time losing myself into my writings, not knowing where the time had left me. I believe I have nearly flawless grammar, which I've improved so much over the past 3 years. I tend to always be active on the forum, always willing to talk to new users and to get to know fellow members of whatever group I may be apart of; the same goes for members in groups that I have never been apart of at all. I am somewhat headstrong when someone tries to disprove something I have stated or disrespect me in some way, shape or form. That goes for anyone. Aside from that personality trait, I am a very loyal member -- to a group that is of interest to me. I am dedicated and willing to succeed at any cost if I believe in the group and their cause. I stick with my groups through thick and thin. In all honesty, I have been waiting for a group like this to open up for recruitment due to my writing interest. My only other option would have been Void, as I enjoy philosophical writings substantially.

Viral Dragon, from what I have deduced after examining his profile, seems to be a very dedicated member to HackForums. Judging from his time spent online, which is currently at, "1 Year, 2 Months, 1 Day, 23 Hours, 54 Minutes, 54 Seconds" according to his profile page, shows that he spends much of his time online and on HackForums.

Seeing that he has been a leader of various groups both recently and in the past which include Complexity, Reviewers, Writ3rs (of course), and Eminence, this shows that he is an immensely responsible, reliable, and admirable group leader. After inspecting his recent threads, Viral Dragon seems to also be a past Infamous brother; not only do his recent threads show he was a dedicated member of Infamous, but also his various threads in the very beginning of Infamous created to teach fellow brothers a variety of skills show he is not the average HackForums user.

As for the Writ3rs, it seems that as the head leader of this group, he has a very nice selection of members -- with no favoritism taking place, nor do there seem to be any members added simply because they are friends with Viral Dragon; this shows that friendship does not effect his group, yet another reason why he is a very fit leader for any group based on these observations.

After viewing Viral's negative reputation, I can safely say it seems that most, if not all of his negative reputations are simply out of jealousy or hate; that, or they are out of idiocy, according to one negative reputation on him stated by Shades, "The lowest quality member I have ever seen on this forum. My opinion of him is that he is ignorant and infantile. I really dislike this member, I don't think I've ever met anyone so egotistical, self-centered, and idiotic. You are a disgrace to HF." Despite this users claims, he gave no reasoning behind this reputation, which will be viewed like any other random negative reputation until further reasoning behind the reputation given (if any reasoning or evidence behind why he believes Viral Dragon is "idiotic" is given at all).

Viral Dragon looks like an exceedingly unbiased member, which is a quality that is very scarce to find on this forum anymore. He has no favorites. He judges his group members not by how close of a friend they are or how oftenly they speak to him or post under the subforum, but based off of my examination of his account, it is about the quality of their posts.
