*[HELP WANTED]* IOS OBJECTIVE C App Development Assistant WANTED!

Hey HF, I'm looking to make an application or learn to at least. I've got a book and the drive to learn. I currently know only HTML 5 unfortunately but I'm very interested in making mobile apps for the IOS system. The reason I made this thread is because I'm currently looking for an assistant to start developing applications with who already knows Objective C. I would like them to teach me to how to make applications, I will catch on quick because I've got some experience but I just need a little push is all. Please leave me a reply or PM me for more information.

[FWI] I have plenty of ideas under my belt for us to work on.
I'd just like to say this now:

I've known Joe Pesci off-site for 6 years now, and if anyone is enthusiastic, it's him.

Good luck finding someone bro <3
Objective-C is pretty awesome, I Highly suggest a Book by The Big Nerd Ranch. Objective-C is mainly about objects, i am intermediate in Objective-C not from the book i mentioned, but by Practicing app development instead of taking my time to learn the syntax and how to declare Instance Variables and Properties, i dug right in and little by little i learned what and how Objects interacted with one another.

Also, Objective-C is about classes, I see it like a Box of puzzels, you simply put them together to make an App, Thats my personal point of view. For example, Making an AlertView would go about:

Code
UIAlertView *helloMessage = [[UIAlertView alloc]initWithTitle:@"Hello User" message:@" Just an idea of how objectve-c works" delegate:self cancelButtonTitle:@"OK" otherButtonTitles:@"Cancel", nil]

Which then would invoke an Alert message. UIAlertView is an Instance of a class from the Framework. you call this class by assigning a pointer called "helloMessage" you would Allocate memory for this instance calling the alloc keword.

Then you would Initialize the rest by calling the
Code
InitWithTitle: ....

And finally you would invoke a method to call this AlertView to be showed on an app depending if you put it on a ViewDidLoad or on an IBAction which triggers it if a button is hit:

Code
[helloMessage show]

where
Code
helloMessage // Is the reciever
and
Code
show // is the selector
.

This kind of instance is defined in a ready to use framework in Objective-C, you just have to call it. Also, You can create your own classes and Objects to use in a very similar way.

Anyway, This is a very tiny example of an Objective-C kind of app function where it is easy for me to explain this than putting a harder example which would require more time to explain, Anyway, hope it helps to get a BIT of an idea of how objective-c works

I actually am reading The Big Neard Ranch and somewhat understanding it. Thanks for the advice and information!

Its ok, I mean Objective-C is pretty much different than other languages but the Analogy is the same, I Honestly preffer Objective-C as my real programming language than Java, C++ or any other because Objective-C itself is very different because of the syntax and even other experienced Programmers have a hard time getting around it because the syntax and square brackets seem daunting and confusing and well, since its the first language excluding C, i find it pretty amazing and it would be hard for me to understand Java or C++ if i were to begin learning those.
