Well I have a GTX 660. It's a beast for gaming, but it lacks in the mining department. I want to build a mining rig so I can be mining 24/7 without having any side-effects on my main system.

I guess nobody really knows what the cap is, except Aurora who doesn't seem to be telling us anything at the moment.

I think we're about to reach the point where Omnicoin would only succeed on bitcointalk if it was reannounced without a public premine this huge. Only problem is, to do this, you'd have to kill off omnicoin or come up with a new name, and the latter is probably the only thing that wouldn't cause extreme confusion (The first idea is also somewhat impossible).

There's too many problems with this coin. A logo witch only the people in this community will get. It wasn't released on BitCoinTalk first.
Now, it's way too late to release on BitCoinTalk.

That may be true. However, it's still open to a much smaller community. You'd have to actively be searching for Omnicoin to be able to find it if you're not a member of HF. So in essence, it is/was a public premine. It might work on Bitcointalk, but this coin may be put under some serious scrutiny. I do hope it survives/takes off.

To avoid some sort of public premine situation going on, all of us could contribute to a giveaway fund to get new people started on OMC. Hopefully that would make people less weary.
