C#

What do you use C# for?

What is the goal here? 🤨

He's newer to C# and you know what he means by this, comeon lol. Do you write programs that aren't like anything else on the list (calculators, drivers, whatever), do you make games, etc etc. It's not that bad, but for most people that go into the language, you usually do ALL of these or dip out on 1-2 of them. For instance I've tinkered in GDI but i've never really programmed a full blown gdi component, etc.

With the exception of whatever the heck he means with "file programming" I have had projects that mainly involve each of the first 3. I've made full games using XNA, Unity, and DirectX before even though DirectX is not really for C# unless you get a managed version of it like SharpDX. I've made programs to encrypt and decrypt data with various cryptography concepts, and I have made controls and other components using GDI as well.

This is still nonetheless a silly thread, but I'll let others form their own opinions here.. 👹

I use C# to pleasure my girlfriend.
She gets big orgasms when she sees my big amazing lines of code.

Doesn't XNA use DirectX? 😝
Not really used XNA, so I don't know.
XNA uses managed DirectX AFAIK... Who knows what's up with XNA though, I haven't looked at it in a while ever since Unity was popularized. I heard rumor about it being obsolete or discontinued a while back, but I haven't looked into it.

Thanks to sea sheep I'm the equestrian with most swag.

Other: I use it for when I want to bash together applications for personal use and I am more concerned with development speed over application performance.
Websites using ASP.NET & File management apps
Usually i use c# for bots, experiments or just for build an app with a high object-oriented language
cant you make crypters for r.a.t's ? with C# programming language?
Hahaha, oh man! This thread made me laugh so hard. The "File Programming" is straight classic, I love it heheh. Cheers OP! Thanks for making my day a bit on the brighter side ;)

To answer the question: I use C# to develop any application that catches my interest. Botting and Scraping are def. fun and have taught me much in the Web App. department, but the limits of my projects are only bound to my capabilities. I love downloading source to learn and compare with my own code. I just started looking at a couple open source Crypters that I obtained from here because, hey, I don't jack about Cryptography so why not? One of the greatest aspects about C# or the .NET framework in general is that there is just SO MUCH to do. Want to create Android Apps? Got it. iOS? Check. Chrome Extensions? Sure! --- There is always something to learn and do when it comes to programming. I think that is one of my favorite aspects of development.
I use it for everything, really. Except web stuff. Then, I use PHP. My Javascript is minimal, and really only for page styling.
I use C# for "File Programming" ... and the other time for software that need to be done quickly.

If you use it for file programming, then you must know what it is. Can you explain it? I don't see what it means.

On-topic: What is this poll anyway? The choices I can select from are way too concrete, not general enough. I use all of them and more I guess..
