I already figured this out before :D
What I am really interested in, is how I can merge a C++ (native) DLL and use it in my .net application.
If anyone know how to do this, I would be really interested in learning that:)
Is there a reason you would merge a dll with the actual executable rather than just including the code within the original program?

The sole purpose of creating the dll is to externalize the class/code/library.

Obviously you don't understand the purpose of the external references ...... 😯

For example, Sqlite libraries :
if the project refers to these ".dlls" and OP wants to deliver its exe file (without setup installation ......) don't you think that merging these ".dlls" will be practical ??
Nice i will use it, also to add more than 1 dll do i need to add this for each ? :

If args.Name.Contains("TestDLL") Then
Return System.Reflection.Assembly.Load(My.Resources.TestDLL)
I am glad that this can help you out =)

I prefer using ElseIf.
Maybe you copied this from https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4165658?
Seems to me like you just converted it to VB.

Yeah you're such a sherlock! This thread was posted in 2013 and that other thread was posted this year.
If you would have read the thread properly you should have seen that I attached the source at the end of the start post.
No I not just copied it from this HF thread.
I found that on a German coding board and made a tutorial with pictures for HF. Problem?
"Now go to the Application Tab and Click on Application Events.
You will get something like this (in your native language of course):"

Can you please post a screenshot of where this application events is because i can't find it
Go to MyProject, click on View Application Events:

A new module will appear in the object Browser on the right ;)
Still can't find it ... are you using visual studio 2012 ?
Nice tutorial OP. +1 for you :)

Regards
Thanks buddy:)
Alternatively if you have problems you can still use ILMerge.
