Userscript

Fireworks in the background!

Install this badboy and look how hot your PC gets!
No really. It will heat up your PC because of the HTML5 Canvas animations.

Installing this userscript will turn the background black, and fireworks will fly up on the page (in the background).

The script cannot run on two pages at once. If the fireworks doesn't show up.. Either give it some time or refresh the page. It will eventually show up.

Credits to script goes to aerotwist.com
Great userscript, but it doesn't work with HFES. Fix it, noob.

Noob, I have HFES on all my devices, and it works fine.
Just CTRL+SHIFT+R the page you're on, and it works fine.
Noob

FIREWORKS, fuck yeah!!

I will! Just gotta get to a PC first :P
This is pretty cool, never knew this was the extent of what's possible with canvases..
Props to the creator (whoever that is).
I'd install this if it doesn't heat up a computer.

Does it actually heat up a computer?
used to be active on this site years ago (-2014), but now I come once every few months and see what people are selling

I don't think some JS could heat up your computer.. (I highly doubt it's very CPU needing)
Unless ofcourse your chosen computer is the raspberry pi, even then it'd probably be fine XD

Well it uses a lot of resources to draw all the particles. It requires a lot of CPU (and GPU) power to draw and calculate it ;)

It doesn't use much resources. Does it even use the graphics card? I don't think it does have direct access to hardware.

My laptop's GPU started to get really hot, so yeah I think so.

That's odd. Most laptopS should be able to handle it. After some research on the canvas it turns our you were right, it is hardware accelerated :/.

Are you sure it's not just bad airflow or a bad fan?

Uhm nope. Why would that be?
It just gets hot, which is normal for a laptop.

My laptop runs it fine :P
