Yep, someone else also pointed that out. I'm thinking of adding a dark blue background behind the header so that people can see it when the background is a light grey color.

Nope. All of my work is done for other clients, I haven't found someone with a portfolio containing the exact work I've done. That would be cool though :P

It shows a lack of creativity and effort on your part.
You have a point, I used similar icons and the header of my website is almost identical to his shop header. So is my sig. Thank you for your feedback, and I will definitely try to be more creative and rely less on others with my future designs. :)

I'd buy SoldierX's designs over this guy's. This guy, in all essence, is a phony. He takes all of his ideas, and just copies them all calls them his. It's plagiarism basically.
I'm not stealing his slogan or any of the work in his portfolio. I just took his color scheme and I loved how he had the icons with his location and profession, so I decided to stick that in my header as well.
And yes, the header of my site is almost identical to the one on his sales thread. I see why people would think that I completely stole his design.
As for your point about graphics, I can't 100% agree with you on that but you definitely have a point with the creativity aspect. :)
Thanks for the feedback, and as I said above, I will definitely try to be more original with my designs.
