ping -t [target]

No goto's are necessary when you have a continuous ping built into the executable. Also, just for the sake of a laugh:

ping -l 65500 sends a maximum sized ping packet, a whopping 65 kilobytes of ICMP echo request.

For the attack to be even more successful, you could consider repeatedly requesting a particular website. That way it works the target server's hard drive and cpu, as well as its NIC.

For it to truly be considered DDoS attack, though, it needs the first "D" to be fulfilled - it must be distributed. That implies doing it from more than one public IP address. That opens up several cans of worms that are tricky to solve.
