Where do I start learning? I know the basics of encryption, but I want to try and decrypt basic encrypted messages? Anyone wanna throw some tutorials and perhaps a few challenges with it for complete newbies?

Well personally, HF isn't the best place to learn about cryptography in general, unless you want to learn about hash cracking or making your viruses FUD lol.

I don't want that... I mean if it's learning sure. But I used to want that, but that it's in the past now. I want to do the hardcore encryption type stuff, cyber-warfare level shiet. x;

Then I would suggest you brush up on your math skills & get those nice & fine tuned as it will help you a lot down the road.
I'm horrible at math at the moment, but I plan to re-learn it some day.
While or after you're improving your math skills, I suggest you take a look in to the past and study about various types of ciphers & how they work and start making your own and then work your way up to modern cryptography.
