I'm banning myself on February 26th, I've waited so long to go on vacation. I'm not thinking about HF or Halo once while I'm gone. 🙃

Surely there is some way we can figure something out. If Guntype and I both agree to do it on Friday, would that be fine? It seems like others played their matches on a separate day. I think it would be more entertaining for potential viewers and competitors if we both were in the correct mindset for the game, and not rushed.

I know this is a big request, especially since you won't be at home inxy, but is there any way we could move the finals to Friday? I have my senior biology oral exam on Thursday, which I need to pass to graduate. I would love to stream the finals and I think we could get a lot more viewers if it is on a Friday afternoon/night. You could receive both of our paypal emails beforehand so you can just send it to the winner. Last time I was in the finals with Jumprs, I was able to pull 200+ viewers, which was awesome.

I have to agree with Rofl Gun.

Rofl Gun has tried tremendously to balance both the tournament and his school work.

I would know.... how serious he is about school work... He would rage at me when I would talk in party chat when he was studying... ANYWAYS.

We all know I am a twitch nerd. I can promise you, you will pull a shit ton more viewers on the weekend rather than during the week.

I mean, seeing the final tournament match as well as all the kids on twitch, might even drive more people to become active in our section.

Like you said Inxy, it is ultimately up to you but it would be amazing to see the final match up against Rofl and Guntype on live stream.

If I was Rofl I wouldnt stress about it, school is more important than this tourny. But it will be dissapointing if the final match doesnt even get to happen.

Surely Rofl can take a quick 30 minute break to do a 1v1. I pull high grades in school too and I'm not a machine, studying for more than a few hours requires some kind of break to take your mind off of things. If inxy isn't going to postpone it, just play it.
You don't need to spend hours practicing or warming up beforehand..

Chances are it will be a best 2 out of 3. (~12 minute long matches = 36 minutes).

If I just hop online after not playing for five days, obviously I'm going t get raped by someone who has the time to play every day (not saying Guntype plays 10 hours a day, but even playing 1-2 hours a day is more than enough to be warmed up).

I'm not even saying I will beat him, but I think the matches will be a lot closer if this were to be moved to Friday, where I could warm up some in the morning/afternoon and then play the match in the late afternoon/night.

Guntype is a phenomenal player that has made it to the finals solely based on his skill. To play his final match against someone who hasn't had a decent amount of time to play in over a week would be unjust.

I understand inxy wants to get this over with by the 26th because he is leaving for a bit, but I'm sure there is some way to work something out. Random idea, give either one of us the money on the 26th to then keep or give away depending on whether we win/lose the match we play on the 28th.

Another disappointment is that I won't be able to advertise or perhaps even stream the game if it's on the 26th. This would leave the HF community and Halo community in general unable to witness the finals -- perhaps losing potential future HF members.

Vouch for the amount of time it would take. If I don't play for any more than a few days I need like 45mins+ before my shot becomes consistent again.
