Never vectored Japanese before, decided to make a set of elements for a first.

So sexy love the 3rd one and the most impressive part is you made the symbols yourself not to much of a fan of the blur could you post how a not blurred image would look? Or maybe just barely blurred?

I really like the 4th one with the sky. I don't like the blur though, it looks like you stretched the image.

Really like the second and third one, I usually see the Japanese characters, Kanji or whatever blended over the background. Great job and love the feel of these.

Simple, clean. I like the way you've blurred the backgrounds just enough so they aren't the focal point, but they are still easy to distinguish.

In my opinion, even with the blur the backgrounds are still to distracting. Too much movement going on there and too little movement in the foreground. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it keeps the image interesting.
I don't know if this was the designer's intention or not, but it works. (pun intended)

Some of the characters are alike, but on "Sky" or Tiān, that's in Chinese.

Yes I'm aware >_<
All of the symbols were simplistic, and then when I saw the symbol for wind I was like there's no way in hell I'll be able to fit that into the circle.
So I did the archaic Japanese symbol for Air as sort of a replacement to keep consistency.

Also to everyone mentioning the blurred backgrounds. They're all stock images, nothing was changed in the images other than some minor color tweaks.
