Most Slice-of-Life animes doesnt have a point, and that is exactly the point, the story ist most of the time random romance, drama or comedy, that makes the Slice-of-Life animes what they are.
Lucky Star is one of my favorites.

Also you should test 2 other Slice-of-Life animes:
i love this one the most:
1.Yuru Yuri
A girl named Akarin joins the School-Amusement Club.
Together with her childhood and new friends she.
There are 4 other Club-Members.
This was the funniest anime i've ever seen.
Theres a second season and an OVA coming soon

2. sakurasou no pet na kanojo
This anime is about a boy who lives in a dorm named "Sakurasou" his life is pretty boring untill the "teacher" (dormowner) told him to pick up her cousin at the station.
