This suggestion is simple; it is that the userbar of a group should be somewhat clickable and link to the group's official thread.

Many group owners tend to have various group recruitment threads, and not just one informational thread. And Omniscient having to keep up with every single one is just more on his plate. So therefor it isn't clickable.

Omni wouldn't have to update it, the group owner would do it.

This wouldn't be necessary. Not all group owners will want this feature to work. Therefore it will be a waste of time to even spend to implement.

Most would, hence why every group has an informational group thread. Also could be made optional.

Because the majority of the suggestions in this section are not needed. There are alternative ways which you can use to make your HF experience better, other than implementing pointless features which could potentially slow down HF immensely because of the resources it will require.

Resources? It is just adding a simple href to the user bar. Please tell me you know http and how simple this is. It won't even take a full line of code-.-

I believe some groups have more than one official thread. That would mean the group owners would have to contact Omni to get it changed.
I see no use in it. Use the search in the Group and Crew General Discussions section.

Ask D3xus to add official threads to the The Official Groups of Hack Forums [1 Year Strong] thread he made. Then you have a quick index of the groups.

You are more than welcome to create your own thread with links to all the different groups' threads if you really want this. I don't think it's needed quite honestly. I have never needed to find a group's thread by clicking on their userbar.

Groups create new threads every now and then (if not every recruitment). This would be a hassle for Omniscient.

As others have stated, a userscript could be made.
