i must say... many of them wear as they trust on the god or devotee whom accessories they wear and they think that this will be like a good charm for them as in if they wear and follow that devotee they help him/her to get success or could help them to complete any work easily which is not easy at all...

and some people say that they wear because it will protect him/her from evil powers and from any misshapppening :lol:

and but now a days,girls n boys wear these accessories like fashion apparels,they have nothing more than this in wearing that..
