My first usefull Java program! (F*ck Yeah Java!)

Hello guys i just finished the GUI version of an old (and outdated (and console-based (and coded in C++))) program i made to analyse minecraft log files. A minecraft log file look like this:

You can see the old program here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3932847
I was using this program regulary but mojang updated the way they stored log files and linux/mac people couldn't use it. So i decided to update it.So basicly the program reads the log files and gives you info about a player... Ok enough for the introduction, let's start with some pictures:

Features:
  • Multi-platform

  • Very fast (366 files under 2sec) (That's 2-3months of data)

  • Output screen give you a lot of info (See pics)^

  • File opener!

  • Made in canada!

  • Export the info to a file by pressing a button!

Planned Features: (If i'm not too lazy)
  • Better GUI

  • Find all players using the same Ip address as the player

  • more server info (Average players online and stuff...)

  • Add popup when there's no .log files found or the player is not found

  • Custom search

  • config file for custom search strings

  • Add an icon or something

Bugs:
  • If there is too many ip addresses it doesn't fit in the JTextArea

  • export to .txt & open it has not been tested on linux/mac

  • There is a "null" ip in the list

  • If you find bugs pm me i'll update it!

Happy analysing!
Thats pretty cool actually.

Maybe have a complete list of all players that you can search through and view their individual stats etc. (Just if your wondering what to expand on) XD

Yeah. But loading 1 players takes 1-3 sec on my ssd computer with 366files. In the best case, for my server it's 13000sec (3.6 hour) (1sec per player)
Thx a lot for the feedback :) I'll add this to the TODO list.
The Swing Look and Feel hurts my eyes. :(

Code
        try {
            UIManager.setLookAndFeel(UIManager.getSystemLookAndFeelClassName());
        } catch (Exception e) {
            e.printStackTrace();
        }

Add that before your swing components are initialized.
WOW, dude. Pretty awesome. nice implementation of Async! I am still learning map reduce.

In that case you might want to implement multithreading into it so you can divide the work up on all cpu cores. - A nice wee challenge for you if you don't yet understand threading.
That will be added to V3.0 :) (Again if i'm not too busy/lazy)
