If your account gets stolen maybe. When I add more gauth features (soon people soon) I may require 2FA to avoid that problem.

Is there a warning when you click on "Self-ban"? I don't want to risk trying clicking on it.

Yes, there is a javascript popup to confirm but I don't recommend you toy with this plugin too much.

When you're banned in MyBB it takes your existing groups and inserts them into the DB for retrieval when the ban is lifted. Sometimes though this craps out and I think it's a conflict somewhere with updating bans or maybe getting banned during the upgrade process. Still trying to track it down because a couple 3p1c lost their upgrade after recent bans were lifted. I'll figure it out.

Omni lifted the ban for the people that tested it if you look a few posts up.

There is a JS pop up for confirmation. I wouldn't toy around with it though.

You don't see a lot of admins of big communities putting in this kind of dedication. I do agree though that we'll need 2FA because as soon as someone compromises an account once they're done doing their business they'll ban the account. Regardless, good job! 🙂
